Well, you keep saying that all of the J4J pilots are still on the USAir Seniority list as active pilots. I'm just wondering if the J4J pilots have seniority numbers above 3538 - if they do, that would mean they are not Active USAir pilots.

See now...you've misread what I have been saying. I have said that the pilots at MDA.....as far as ALPA is concerned..are active AAA pilots. They paid dues from day 1. they pay assesments. They are allowed to vote on AAA business. They can run for office. Whereas the J4J pilots at other carriers, were on probation and listed as apprentice members since we were at "new" carriers......that's what I said. I never said all j4j members were shown as active. In fact I believe I said there wasn't a list showing even the MDA pilots as active, but there had been one in the works, as the feds were making group roll everything into one. As the feds were not happy with the seperation US was trying to make of it as they were flying on the same certificate. IN FACT the pilots were told NOT to mention MDA around any feds, and to simply call themselves the EMB division. go figure
