Looks like I got an interview. any info on the Flight Dept. would be helpful.

In addition to this job, there is another opening in the area (ILG) with a Fortune 500 corporation. PM me if you are interested and want to live in DELMARVA. I don't think they have posted yet.

Congrats FO. I sent my stuff in after calling the hangar to see who to address the cover letter to, I never heard back. Not even a "we received your stuff." Are you local to the MDT area? I'm not, so maybe that had something to do with it. I also was kind of liberal on the salary expectations. Good luck to you!

PJ

thanks for the well wishes guys,
I am a local ( kind of) and I applied about 8 months ago. And just the other day got a response.

Don't get your hopes up. They usually hire first, then post the job and interview information. Been through it. Hope I'm wrong.

I did my phone interview and now have a face to face interview tomorrow. Can anyone at least PM with info would be great.

Good luck today.
I phone interviewed with them 2 years ago but didn't get much further then that.
They were looking for a Capt. at the time.

All I can say is, if they ask you what your favorite food is, your answer better be a Hershey product.

This job..do they definately want you living near MDT...no chance in hell of commuting right? any range on FO salary expectations?

I think it went well, but I thought that about other jobs too(netjets). Time to wait!!!

Don't laugh at this one. I know of someone who went on several interviews for a senior position at Coke (not in the flight dept), and at dinner without even thinking ordered a Diet Pepsi. Needelss to say, they did not extend an offer to him.

I did a stint with Coke several years ago. We had a packer (20 something kid) at the distribution facility show up to work with a Mountain Dew 20 oz bottle. He came onto the property with it like he wouldn't get busted or someone wouldn't say anything. He got canned. There were other issues involved but the straw that broke the camel's back was the Dew. No kidding.

That's because they're moving a lot of their operations to Montery Mexico. This is good for the flight department but all around bad for the American Laborer.
The Hershey Bar is now going to be called "The Great Mexican Chocolate Bar"

Just got the call last night!!!! I didn't get the job. but a guy I work with did.
