What's really sad is waxing requires the least amount of experience. I feel sorry for the metro boys in NYC

ya flowthrough is right around the corner. we have a meeting in april and then we'll have one in june, and yet another in september. we'll then file an injunction on our injuction and grieve the grievance that has already been denied. by this time pdt will have already parked planes again, because of the looming captain shortage due to flight time requirements to upgrade. either they will do that or just stop the preferrential jackoff hiring program all-together. shortly thereafter mainline will be furloughing and the poor guys that did the preferrential hiring will be on the street. pdt will hire them back, but at the bottom of the FO list. good news is that they'll have enough time to upgrade!

why didn't they put any of that in the job posting??

Saw this recently regarding PSA:

to be competitive with other applicants, they will need to have an Aeronautical Degree and CFII, a minimum of 50 hours of recent flight time, at least 600 Total Time hours and 75 Multi-Engine hours, (or 300-400 TT, 45 multi, and 20 hours specialized training in our aircraft, the CRJ 200 or CRJ 700).

Screw the flowthrough, we should be negotiating a different captain payscale for any time you fly with a guy who has less than 1000 total time!
