How friggin sweeet is this!! Awww man, I cant wait to get my flow thru and be a part of the easties/westies gang.

Position Information
Job Title: First Officers - (FOR *** ALUMNI AND STUDENTSONLY!!!)Requirements: Must be a *** graduate or Student!!! Must have passport and first class medical. Total times, New minimums are 250 TT & 25(firm)ME. Regular minimums were 1000 to include 100 multiengine time, or 900 TT & 150 ME, or 800 TT & 200 ME. Please see the application procedures below. Job Description: ***Now has a flow thru preferential hiring agreement w/US Airways.

Good thing that 25 ME is firm. 22 is not nearly enough but 31... man, you'd be overqualified.

If you can't even rent a Seminole solo from the local flight school, you shouldn't be flying an airliner around.

With looming cutbacks, will we really need to go this low for pilots? Or is this some marketing smoke screen to keep applicants coming in to some flight school?

I'm not shocked. This 'hiring boom' is all about jobs at the low end of the spectrum. I guess that's great for someone starting out. Just expect that career bubble to next step to be a bit longer than before. As majors switch to 70-90-100 seat regional flying and concentrate on international, moving up the career payscale will get much more competitive. The result of this will be high turnover at the regional level. The golden carrot will be there, only for many to find it will be hard to obtain.

I've got my money on this either being PSA or Peidmont.

Siucavflight, your avatars just get better and better. By the way, I'm leaving the Beagle for Avantair. Enjoyed my stay, time to make the move.

Regards, Wacoflyr

How cute, they can't find anyone. Big surprise. Have fun captains. And what's the difference between 5 hours and 25 hours multi engine time? The 20 extra times you have to start an extra motor?

250/25?

Thats nothin' compared to what it takes to become a hairdrssser or nail specialist in NYC:

Cosmetologist (hairdresser):1,000 hours
Esthetician: 600 hours
Nail Specialist: 250 hours
Natural Hairstylist: 300 hours
Waxer: 75 hours
