Hey Mark,

You must fly for BA and do a little McK air ambulance stuff. I am on the other side of the state flying for the hospital here. Maybe we've even met.

I took my private pilot checkride about 13 years ago at FSD...

My folks live in Sioux Falls...great town.

No, the Brick Pit in Mobile is worth the price of fuel!! No lie, slow smoked 36 hours for the pulled butt, 16 hours for the ribs and 8 hours for the chicken!! Served with the best sweet tea, beans and Bimini bread!!! Yummmmmmm!!!

Welcome Vette... I've spent a little time in FSD myself. I've got a good friend that lives there who own the Batteries Plus near the mall.

Cheers,

I sure did...nice guy.

A word of caution. The only two topics that won't get you flamed around here are

1. aviation...

that isn't necessarily true.

The one and only time I was in FSD we stopped for fuel on the way to Seattle in my old Citation III Days... Since we bought enough fuel from Business Aviation, they gave us each these two huge pork tenderloins and a receipe for Cantonese Style Pork Tenderloin... It is a fantastic receipe I still use today... Of course I slow grilled it over a hickory fire and that added a great new dynamic to it... It is one of the favorites of the house!

If anyone wants the receipe, let me know, I'd be happy to post it...
