I believe that has been publicly stated many times by GK. I believe the statement was CITIES, tool, I am fairly certain that SWA does serve the Dallas area.

We go to Dallas? I had to commute offline to get there this week ;)

Doesn't help the flights are ALWAYS packed (except in my Profit Sharing!)

That sounds good.. Service to Pensacola and Huntsville that otherwise sees no other LCC is good in my book. Chance to expand

Give it a rest, fellas...Gary's going to do what's good for SWA, and he's got a lot of good folks working for him to decide those sorts of things.

Head of SWA network planning seemed very interested in how Allegiant and some others work these smaller towns. Wouldn't surprise me to see service open up.

Kelly also said Southwest had no plans to drop any cities served by AirTran Airways after Southwest completes its acquisition of AirTran. Some of the AirTran cities are smaller than those typically served by Southwest.

This has been stated many times before. A complete change in SW biz model. Smaller communities with ground support staff contracted. IF this holds true, imagine the possibilities for growth domesticly... Think Fresno, Jackson Hole (mentioned by GK) The statement made is "IF we can fly one FULL flight a day into a city, it is something we need to look at". Take a look at the margins earned by Allegiant these days.

Keep the cuts commin Delta, we will need more gates in ATL.

You guys are running out of gate space at larger airports, so naturally you have to search for podunk cities to support any growth. Make sure you high five the Allegiant FO as both of you do simultaneous walk arounds at Grand Island, NE. Sounds like a blast!

Landing in Grand Island would pay me $210/hour. Very similar to the rate I get when I land in a busy airport.

Ya, it's much better to give all these cities to the regionals rather than have mainline do it.

A strip of concrete, a shuttle van and a hotel room.

Once you've seen one you've seen them all...

Don't knock layovers in small towns- they can be really fun ...
