Career preparation

You absolutely, positively, have to get your four-year degree. You need a four-year degree, in SOMETHING, to get anywhere in aviation. A four-year college degree will serve you no matter what you do in life. You can always take out loans for school.

Nothing wrong with getting an A.S. in Aviation, but you can't stop there. In fact, getting the Associate's in Aviation and your Bachelor's in something else might be the best of all worlds.

I wouldn't put all of my eggs in one (or two) baskets regarding your career destination. Aim to get on with any major airline, if that's your goal, and things will take care of themselves.

Good luck with your plans.
