at least IMHO.

Im sure line guys can pull 150K.

20K more is not a lot to assume all the BS the CP has to deal with.

then again, its all what you negotiate.

It does not sound like it...but I just hope your AA friend is not the trendsetter of beat-up airline guys taking 175K jobs for 125K. We really dont need that, its hard enough to make a good buck in this business. Tell him to go high, they can afford the talent!

good luck to him!

Good luck getting that 'horrendous pig of a woman' to pay 175K. But you are probably right about the extra 20k or so for CP. So 150K would be good IMHO.

I flew her once .... VERY strange. He was very friendly and like to tell "stories."

I talked their old CP for quite some time. She sounds like an inconsiderate B%#tch. He spent more time running the APU than flying the airplane. I am sure the reason for a new CP.

Is this job for corporate or Ms. Heinz? They are completely seperate and have nothing to do with each other.

This job is for corporate! He does not have to fly Kerry or if I am not mistaken her ( is so not often).

As to the other comments, that is why I am doing a little research, I told him to ask around as well. He was military prior to airline, and he knows people over there that landed him the gig, however he is not aware of corporate pay, and this offer came at the last minute.

He would be the last type to drag down the pay, in fact our paycuts and QOL have been a big reason for his thoughts of leaving.

Thanks for the info,
AA

you can bet your a$$ she will use the company plane as much as possible to avoid spending on hers. All these billionaires do.

and hey, who knows...weird is kinda cool...and she is pretty damm cute! - maybe she parties like a rock star?

I flew her a number of times during the campaign but she usually preferred to fly in her own GIII, even when she and her husband were going to the same place. At the time she had one pilot who used contract co-pilots.

The ketchup folks just purchased my old aircraft, last week. A high 1400's serial number low time G4. From what I was told she does not use the company aircraft all that much.

I would expect to see a salery in the $175-200k range plus stock options and bonus.

G4G5 were you able to find another job or were you guys upgrading?

For the life of me i can't think of where heinz would be located. The ketchup not the lady. I know where she lives on beacon hill.

Thanks G4G5,

I forgot where you where based, you may even know him. Will drop him a line tonight. The kicker is they may also need 4 more pilots, and he would have say in who that is. Hmmmmmm.

Would you come back to AA, or will stay where you are?

PM me if you would like. I know this question can be asked often, but considering how fluid everything is, it is always good to get a current opinion.

Thanks,

AA
