I would think Pittsburgh?

I am pretty sure that is where it is. My friend lives in DC, he said he took Airways up, but could have driven if needed. I was too busy listening to everything else, forgot what city he was talking about.

G4G5 were you able to find another job or were you guys upgrading?

For the life of me i can't think of where heinz would be located. The ketchup not the lady. I know where she lives on beacon hill.

I literally just moved to the aircraft parked next to my old one.

Do a search on N257H

Get it Heinz 57

They are located in Pittsburgh.

You know, that's f'ed up even by MY standards! is right! TC

For what its worth. A classmate of mine worked there about 2 years ago. Hated it. No Checklist, no standards, and no Flight Attendants on long haul flights.

Maybe they let the CP go?

Hello All,

I have a friend who interviewed for the position of CP with Heinz. (yes the ketchup and wife of you know who). My friend does not have corporate background and is unfamiliar with some of the pay scales. They have GIVs, if i am not mistaken.

Would would one expect for compensation? What would pay be at A Fortune 500 company like this on the GIV?

Thanks for your help,

AA

$125k> + benefits- but it really depends what you can negotiate.

It would have to pay 4mil/yr to put up with that horrendous pig of a woman.

125K for chief pilot?

Thats entry level pay on G/Glex/900 equipment, certainly not CP pay.

I know you put ">" in there...I say about 50K ">" than 125K is normal.

Thanks,

I thought it would be around 150K, considering what I heard the GIV guys get at 3M and Merck. I think they will offer him around that, however his contact said if it is not enough, let us know what is. He is ready to bail from AA, so $130 plus would probably swing him over.

Thanks

So, $170K would be more in line with market rates?

at least IMHO.

Im sure line guys can pull 150K.

20K more is not a lot to assume all the BS the CP has to deal with.

then again, its all what you negotiate.

It does not sound like it...but I just hope your AA friend is not the trendsetter of beat-up airline guys taking 175K jobs for 125K. We really dont need that, its hard enough to make a good buck in this business. Tell him to go high, they can afford the talent!

I have seen airline/mil guys average in thier pensions when considering pay and lowballing themselves. Departments love that, but those guys are $hit-eating dirtbags IMHO...(not that this is his intention by any means)

good luck to him!
