You could buy a Lightspeed and send it in for repairs every few years OR you could get a DC and it will not break... Your choice

sigtronics S-40...best non ANR set i've come accross, i've fitted mine with gel seals (best move ever), the lightspeeds are pretty nice too...
I have a pair with gels and they are great. Bullet proof. I have beat mine up for years and they haven't given me a moments trouble. The price is right as well.

I agree, I just returned a pair of Lightspeed 30 3g's I'd only had for a month, the ANR crapped out already. I exchanged them for a pair of DC 13X's. It's a good thing Lightspeed has a good warranty program because their headsets need routine work done, poor quality in my opinion. I won't buy another set of Lightspeeds, but yes, they were very comfortable.

Telex Air 3500

Telex all the way. Same price as a 13.4, but much better quality. The sound quality in the speakers is way better than the 13.4. Also, IMHO, the Telex feels much better on the skull. The boom comes out of the bottom, so it's easy to swing out of the way. Good luck with your choice.
