A friend of mine has an offer to fly Hawker 900XP this fall, and is looking for salary info.

Here are the details:

- 2 pilot department
- 650 hours a year
- 91 and 135
- No hard days off
- SoCal area.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like a classic owner/operator operation. High usage, no hard days 95% of your stuff will be 91, lots of time AFB.

On the flip side you could see some interesting RONs if the owner is a player.
My first jet job was all that, a Falcon 50 and we spent most of our time either in the hotel or on a 45 minute leash waiting for the call.

Mexico, Hawaii, Bahamas etc...

All nice trips but we were on the road up to 20 days a month.

Straight charter about 16-18 days a month at two large operators in VNY is going for 85K for PICs. This sounds like it should be more!

I was taught that this: Any SoCal job=NBAA Salary "High" X 2 = starting point.

Be about the same as an 800XP or 850XP job. The airplane just can go a little further.
