I would guess for. A lot of the pilots who normally vote no seem to be saying yes.(still a few very vocal VOTE NO! VOTE NO! guys, but they are people that would vote no no matter what) We also have a 1113 hearing scheduled the day before we are supposed to formalize the exit for BK. Seems to me if anyone votes no the judge can just override the vote and exit BK the next day, I don't know that to be fact, but seems logical to me.

The more the new contract bullit points get looked at by the pilots, people are starting to see things they like. For instance, a HNL/PPG/PPG trip used to pay about 8 hrs and it included a DH one way (1/2 pay on the deadhead leg). Now it will be flown by a CAPT. FO, and IRO and everyone will get full pay PLUS an Intl override. More money and more cumulative time off for the month. Also any deadheading is now full pay.

Full pay for deadheading is one reason for voting YES.

Why would any pilot group agree to 1/2 pay on deadheads? IMHO, ALL deadheads should be paid at time and 1/2. That would motivate scheduling to utilize us more efficiently.
