How many times have we heard this "First Class service for LCC ticket prices" idea for a new startup? I can't believe these companies are able to convince investors that the idea will work.

According to the Boeing site, yes (probably). http://www.boeing.com/commercial/737family/technical.html

The 737-800 with a full load of 2-class pax (162) can go Boston to London and Paris. It will almost make Berlin so I'm guessing departing JFK to London would be at the max, but not impossible.
