At SWA, we've had a couple of our guys that do it. Heard one out of MDW last year that played it prior to pushback. Not only was it a great tune...and in tune...he had some great standup comedy to go with it. It was done right, and went over great...wish I had that talent...

Yeah, it's great . . . ONCE.

How would you like to be that FO on a 4 day trip? Actually, I have been that FO, and I can tell you that by the end of the second day, you're really thinking about helping them play that harmonica from their other end.

At least you would always hear when they blasted a fart!

We have a train whistle ca in EWR on the 737. Blowin' as we leave the gate...........

So I guess playing the highland bagpipe by the door as pax get on might be a bit much? I will leave them home then.

;)

I bring my accordion and PRAY for ground delays.

I have flown with the SW MDW based guy. Plays the harp great, great comedic timing, gets the whole plane cracking up before we push.....and no, It doesn't get old.

Cheers!

I play the tuba and carry it with me wherever I go. I like to play it during the boarding process and ground delays, and of course at the bar after a long day. If I could fly with that harmonica guy, we would rock!
