"This plane has a bottle of red wine and white wine on it. If you saw me steal the bottle of white, what would you do?"

The desired answer was, "I would then take the bottle of red."

"If you could be any animal in the animal kingdom, what would you be and why?"

---asked in NWA interview, 2001 (I didn't get the job)

Really?

That question wasn't on the panel list...and doesn't appear to be related to any of the "follow-up" areas we used. I suppose if you answered a previous question about career goals or previous experience with something about being a zoo keeper or rancher, it could fit, but it'd be a stretch.

As you'll recall, your NWA interview was a 3v1, with an HR staffer in there to keep the questions on the sheet...or related to your responses. I have first-hand experience with how the panel conducted interviews back then, and what questions were allowed. Your's sounds a little (no pun intended) fishy to me.
