Pay your dues

Assistant BE40 P.M. loves to harass the pilots - it different now that you a union rep and lawyer sitting beside you listening to company B.S. as they try to "stuff your folder" with even more B.S.

Operative word is "try". Union Stewards are trained to know the rules and make sure they are followed. To those who believe that a union is only to get you a contract, from what I've seen, that is just the beginning.

I second the call for Options pilots to invest in their fight and future. Dragging your message boldly across the sky is a great reason to send in your dues. If it comes to picketing I can tell you that the permits for that can be steep. We've all heard it said--It takes money to make money--and it is very fitting in this situation.
Hang in there! :)

While it may not be obvious to you, this does qualify. As helpmate to my husband I fully support his role as a volunteer/leader for NJ pilots and I'm setting an example for my children in how to stand up for one's self.

Go Wart Hogs!..:)

Thanks X402! So true....I'm digging in my heels and cheering on those pilots turning in cards and fighting for a fair/good contract. Wart Hog, review my early posts and you will see that I suggested the other frac pilots stand up for themselves when I asked them to support the NJ pilots during their contract battle. Now that they are it would be terribly remiss of me not to cheer them on, as well. Worse than that, I'd be a hypocrite, no better than the selfish pilots/frac family members that I complain about. My family is now much better off financially, but the victory doesn't feel complete when I have a very good idea what other frac families are still facing.

My posts have always been motivated by personal convictions. I strongly believe that all professional pilots deserve to be compensated accordingly. I hold the view that frac families are all in this together and that establishing a "going rate" benefits us all. Additionally, I was asked by some Options pilots to lend my voice to their cause and I consider it a pleasure and a privilege to do so. I'll be cheering them on until they get a contract, but I have no wish to irritate those not interested in that support. Please feel free to put me on your ignore list if you dislike my style of encouragement and level of participation. NJW

Industry standards are most effective when applied across the industry.

Keep up the good work NJW. I like her "go smack the lips off somebody" attitude. To me, that's a Lady!!

What a cheerful definition.....:p Thanks for the vote of confidence, LF...:) and the laugh...:D

nejetwife...cant you go get a job or something?

Apparently this is all she is capable of doing. I'm sure "bubba" from down the street takes a bit of her time while the old man is out making her $$$$.

I think you need to apoligize, publicly and privately, after you sober up.

Then never post again on this board.
