What is a reasonable and competitive pay rate for GV and Hawker 800 XP pilot? I am interviewing with a charter company to fly these acft and the pay is "negotiable". I am from a 121 background and trying to figure this out.

Thanks

GV is the top of the food chain, estimates range from 100 to over 150k per annum. As for XP drivers, I've seen everything from 65k to 100k.

Good luck.

Assuming your profile is accurate you dont hold type ratings or have time in type for either aircraft you would be hired into. Given that and the current state of the pilot market anything between 50-70k would be fair for a new hire right seat. However this should increase rapidly. What you really want to negotiate is type ratings in these aircraft. Get these types with 500 pic in type and your market value goes to the top of the charts. When calculating the value of your compensation package bear in mind that a GV type goes for 40K and an 800 type for 25k at FSI. And dont forget quality of life issues either. Best of Luck.
