Guns in the cockpit (this isnt meant to be bait)

I was on an ASA jumpseat and the FO was one of these FFDO's, and he was truly scary! One of these ex-military types that was just dying to kill someone, he was practically foaming at the mouth.

Do yall think you are gonna actually open that door and start shooting?

What's with you freaks who always want to carry a gun?

You realized that being a pilot really isnt that cool, you need to carry a gun to impress the chicks? I can just hear em at the bar.

You are the same guys who listen to Art Bell at 2 in the AM and actually take him seriously and think the world is ending tomorrow.

Ok gun fool, I challenge you to give me some scenerio in which your gun would be beneficial, I bet I can punch huge holes in it!

Yea, I hear you flx...I thought I was pretty much out there playing mumbly pegs without the pegs, but what is it with this weekend anyway?

I get home from work today and I see we got a guy/gal that has a nut against FFDO pilots, we have had discussion today about the skin dissolving off of horses and their owners, and heard from guys that want to drive airplane fuel consuming muscle cars with inoperative speedo's and their ball caps on backwards and not get harassed by the po-lice...Oh, and ATLCDG2 gave me a compliment.

So...what's the delio? Did I go on my flight today, only to take a nap on the FBO couch to wake up in the twilight zone or did them boys in Okie finally approve peyote buttons and mushrooms as good to go for pilots?

Now that you have opened the door, after you kill like five people (terrorist/innocent people mix) your clip is empty and the remaining 10 terrorists flood the cockpit and now they have control of the a/c, and there you have it.

That's what my original post was going to address. The fact that idea behind the FFDO program assumes someone else "opens" the cockpit door. But then I decided this whole thing is probably just flame bait and is pointless to argue, so I deleted it.

More often than you realize! You'd be surprised what goes on behind that closed cockpit door! That's why we have a peephole and the FA always calls before they come up.

First of all, FFDO pistols don't have a freaking clip you flucking moron!!!
