I know I know

I would look at the regional with the worst pay and benefits. Then refrence that with the biggest dirtbag owner/CEO and multiply that by the pilot group who is willing to do anything for growth and you will have your answers. I have a couple in mind.

Sounds like you're referring to mesa. If I'm not mistaken they are in the process of replacing their MEC. I think the pilot group has finally had it (good for them!).

Since our future pay rates are based on industry average +X%, I hope they get what they want.

Mesa has no growth (out side of a few CRJ's going to HI) planned for either 2006 or 2007.

If you want growth, look at CHQ. I know they have some growth and the E170 is a plane everyone wants. -Bean

Anyone hear that Skywest might be getting more 70seaters? The overall consensus is regionals are done growing, attrition is what the majority is hiring for. Fine by me, lets see mainline get some planes, EMB190 comes to mind, way to go USAir. There still might be hope for a ticket to the big show.
