hey taws...

parker has been on record that it was a mistake to make the deal prior US mgmt made with RAH. He tried to stop it, but was unable........that's what I was going on.

I just spoke with a good friend of mine who is very involved in Washington Dc. The Govt. is basicaly looking at this as a way to save MONEY and at the same time JOBS. Yes, believe it or not Washington sees this as a cost effective way to synergize the mainstream of Americas Workers and alleviate the disfunctionality of Unions fighting within their own rank and file. Lets broaden the horizons of America. What exactly is it you want from your job???

Bottom line is this....NObody knows the impact of synergy. Not even the mgt team thinking this will fly. Its perposterous to think anyone could make money off a deal like this unless of course your an investor. And there will be many hungry investors looking at this. Good Luck to all involved.

Three hubs in a triangle? SLC, LAS, and PHX. Does that make sense? How about major hubs in ATL and CLT? No way. Then look at the NE. Look at the fleet types. The only plane that is similar is the 757, and they have different engines. Here are the types:

USAir: A330, 767-200ER, 757, A321/320/319, 734, 733, and E190
DL: 777, 767-400, 767-300/ER, 757, 738, MD88, MD90

Where are all of those synergies? Yeah, right.

Bye Bye--General Lee

:rolleyes:Merger.....Not goona happen! Too many airlines combining into one. Anti-competitive. Maybe if they were just one airline, but three....No WAY!!! Parker still has a HUGE MESS with the pilot merger of the first two carriers, WITHOUT adding the Delta flock!

So there it is boys and girls...can Mr. dugie create an airline that has never been conquered or flown before...He seems to think so...This should get pretty interesting for a guy who just happend to waltze into management. I like his guts but I wouldnt bet on his bronze. He just went way over his head. As for me,,,I hope Im wrong.....time will tell...good luck dugie.

and if you make this work remember to REMEMBER the GUYS and GALS that gave us all the opportunity. Pay Check at Risk......Millions of Dollars at Risk. Which one ???????? awabrothersfromanothermother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
