There is no pilot issue. Maybe for the regionals. They'll just cut flying or shut down before they pay you more.

Don't forget they eat for free according the restaurant signs along the interstate so that's good for another ~$25/day or ~$500/mo.

Pretty lousy wage top out, I don't think this really helps the case that regionals need to pay more. Why compare yourself to a job like that when you should be comparing your self to a job that requires the background being a professional pilot does.
