It's a creative solution. Sad state of affairs. But creative.
 
This is a great idea. I flew the 1900 single pilot prior to the 135/121 switch. Loved flying it alone.


I don't think the D model is single pilot certified? Also, it's been a long time since I flew part 135, but wouldn't that operation require two pilots anyway?
 
Still requires two pilots, because it's 135 the FO doesn't need 1500 hours. There may be more of these types of operations popping up in the future.

Lets take this one step further. I bet these scumbags start a trend. remember the FO pay to play at the old silver? I imagine the management at Great Lakes is going to charge these desperate 250-1500 hr guys to build their hours. A regional airline dream.
