AdamKooper said:Nope all 160 or so planes will be Crammed into that little space in ATL. The upgrade just went from 5 years to a good 6 or 7. Probably won't hire anyone for a while due to losing all the 70s in SLC to SKYW. 900's are going to SKYW also they are going to Operate a Viritual base in ATL to fly 70s and up. ASA will be a 50 seat only Airline and the number of planes are about to drop. I can't understand why anyone would come to this hole?
ASA_DFW said:Just got done with a trip. Fred and Scott were on the bus and told us the SLC base WILL be closed. There is no official notice yet, but it is the truth. I think Scott was saying there were only 29 departures a day, not enough to support a base. He also said we are getting around 12-15 705. Don't quote me on all the 705 figures but SLC will be closed. I am sorry for all the people who moved to SLC and now have to come to ATL. Good luck to all.

Truckdriver said:Wow, Jerry is going to have his hands full with labor issues shortly. He has done nothing but piss on the ASA folks since the purchase and with ALPA courting the SKYW guys now, it is only a matter of time. I see the good relationship with employees and the great corporate culture of SKYW deteriorating into what all other airlines have. I think the ASA purchase was a good thing for the guys looking at growth and money, but a very poor decision in the long run due to the poor morale that the whole deal is creating. In the long run upset employees will cost more than the money they are making by owning ASA. Looks like Jerry has finally turned into just another airline CEO.

Yeah, putting the blame on pilots instead of management should work out for you some day.
Good luck with your bitterness. ASS
