I hope things work out for the Frontier Pilots. You folks deserve better than to be relegated as "Regional Airline" pilots.

Good luck to you all!

We all love flying airplanes but man this business has some funky turns in the path that we would all like to avoid.

Republic has been a major

With all due respect sir, Republic has been classified as a "Major" airline for at least two years now under DOT specs....

Practically every regional is also classified as a "major" by those standards, (as they have been for years;) slowpoke.

Dude, I think "being relegated to life as "regional pilots" would be a far better fate than what Midwest pilots have had to endure under the reign of Republic.

Yeah, whatever. If a title is really that important to you....never mind the pay & QOL.

BTW, that $1B revenue threshold hasn't been adjusted for inflation since before I was towing banners.

I'm afraid that what you actually meant was:
You (Frontier pilots) did not deserve to be kicked to the streets and replaced by low-paid Republic pilots.

Anyone who doesn't see Frontier as being screwed and Republic as riding the gravey train of shattered careers has their head up their, well, you know where...

Maybe a better offer will come along from a stronger company, that will give the average F9 Pilot a 40% raise, health benefits (with Dental), 401k matching, profit sharing, and stable employment.

NAH, forget it.

I think that is what they said to your RIDICULOUS offer. Well, at least they won't have to go to LBB......

I think you meant to say pretty soon they won't have anywhere to go, let alone LBB.

So, Republic won't fund them and make them stronger? I thought they have been profitable over the last few months? Don't tell me your SWA Ego has lead you to this conclusion? Wow, SWAPA is feeding you a lot of nonsense. Did they tell you Gary Kelly got his arse smacked by the Republic management? They must have forgotten that part....

Gary Kelly got exactly what he wanted.

If he wanted Frontier that bad he could have simply removed the prior SLI clause and upped the price a few bucks and he would have had F9 in a heartbeat.

He chose not to do either as he didn't want F9 on those terms.

He let F9 go, by default , to RAH.

There was no genius maneuvering or "arse handing" by RAH.

I fixed your quote with the items you "forgot."

Yeah, OKAY........he chose to look naive in negotiations, so you guys would be over confident in your continuing TA negotiations.....riiiiiiiiiiight.

Genital Lee. Soon you will be talking to yourself. You are being put on many ignore lists at records pace. The future for you is posting and then you answer your own posts with all your other screen names.

For anyone else pondering whether or not to put the General on IGNORE status - I did it a month ago - I never knew I could have it so good!

For those of you who do choose to receive his messages, please refrain from quoting him. Unfortunately I have discovered no way to block his quotes.

I'm surprised FAPA didn't demand primae noctis rights.

That was one of the six items that were agreed upon. :)

Unfortunately, after re-reading the SWAPA proposal and reallizing that it did not include recall rights or domicile protection, we reallized that they were doing the *************************g, not their new wives.

Could have been worse. SWAPA could have offered up our FAs (No offense to any WN FAs on here. Love you, mean it).

loss of their seniority and crew base for an "as needed" job interview.

Careful about misinformation. "job interviews" were not on the table. They were going to be given jobs - all of them including the 50+ already on furlough. You are correct they would lose all their seniority.

*edit*

yes, there were going to be more furloughs, but they would all have seniority numbers was my point. Absolutely positively no interviews.
