I did not think that spineless jelly fish had the ability to vote.

Just look in your local medical dictionary and find herpes:

Painful bumps and red itchy scabs that won't go away.

Funny that the hated Go-J's are the only ones to show any balls when it comes to turning down TA's. Pay attention Mesaba...you can learn a lot from them.

The only ones I think not!! They would be ALPA if the waterskiers would have voted yes.

Don't try to make them out to be hero's after what they did.

First time I've ever heard these losers and balls mentioned in the same sentence. My guess is that there's a misprint involved here and that what it really said was that they turned down T & A 'cause they're gay.

Naw they have been mentioned, just in a different context.

Actually, you have a lot to learn from the Mesaba pilots. They have gone through more bull&$&% in the past 5 years than most pilots go through in an entire career, and they've done it with dignity and self-respect. They stood up for themselves, stood together with the other employee groups, and they achieved what is perhaps the shining example of a CBA negotiated under the threat of bankruptcy and 1113. If only the pilots at the legacy carriers had done so well.

Actually, I think the official vote tally was:

12%: Yes I'd like a union contract.

88%: No I'd like to continue to be a management flunky.

Thus the TA was voted down by 88%.

Good luck getting all you wish for guys, but redemption doesn't come quite that easy.

Is this the same wonderful TA that was based on the Horizon contract? I thought things were going so well in the Hulas/scumbag love fest.

I'd be willing to bet that it mirrors the CURRENT TSA 98' contract with very few improvements.......

When the next TA gets accepted we will see what it looks like....

I thought the current contract was passed in 2000 and extended in 2003 from '04 to '06? I'm sure TSA will get the next shot at GoJet flying.

So, Swordfish, why was it voted down? What did the GJ group want that they didn't get in this TA?
