Anyone want to sign up with me under the buddy program and save a few bucks?!?

Feb 10th

A friend and I are going on Feb 10th. Can you make it then? The discount for three is a little better. Feel free to PM.
Anyone else want to go then?

Guys, if you were smart, you would go to Hirepower Aviation in Dallas. The Southwest HR people are in there every friday and once you finish your type, you get a call within 2-3 weeks for an interview! I've heard that this is the best place to get your type!

Not everyone gets the call 2 - 3 wks latter. I went to Higher Power and I liked them, but still no call. I have also heard good things about K&S. Folks on the inside that I know at SWA say they don't care where you get the type... just get it. It's true that SWA comes to Higher Power to meet every class, but it is just an info Q&A session and does not move you up 'the call' list.

splatt is right on the money. while IMHO HPA are some of the finest individuals in aviation and i couldn't recommend them highly enough, i don't think that going to HPA has anything to do with getting or passing an interview with SWA. it does keep your eyes on the goal since SWA comes and talks to you but that's about the extent of it being an advantage.

Guys you are smart to go to K&S. AWESOME PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!! Ask for Michael Strugis. Best Boeing Instructor I've ever had!! Merle Hodel and the rest of the staff will make your type experience a great one.

Splatt is right, not everyone is so lucky to get the call 2-3 weeks after training no matter where you go. That kind of thing only happens to a certain percentage with either school. I've heard of guys getting the call the afternoon after they're type ride. Good Luck and keep the Faith!:D

I live in PHX, so I am going to attend K&S. I would go to dallas, but it's so much easier for me to stay in my home town to get my type. Even though I will get a hotel during sim week. Must stay focused grasshopper! Anyhoo, if someone can attend the Feb 24th class give me a shout out!

Hey, good luck with the ground school and Type Ride! Just putting my 2cents in. We have guys lined up from here to tomorrow that are getting the interview with SWA within the next couple of weeks.
Later,
