I watched the launch today in total amazement! What a accomplishment! I felt like it was the very first time seeing a shuttle launch. Although, I dont think I took a breath until 6 + 30 minutes when the main fuel tank seperated. Way to go NASA!
I agree but I still find it amazing how they manage to orchestrate such a complex process and the sheer power of the shuttle. But, of course, when you start talking about a single piece of foam causing so much damage you know you've got to start looking for a new solution.
