The winter uniform is a joke here at NetJets... I have had Double Pneumonia twice in 7 years here at NetJets. The Uniforms are not designed for our line of work on the ramp-walking 100 yards to the FBO in sub-zero conditions, humping bags etc...

We need a light weight parker with a removeable liner-one that will double in the summer as rain gear... I was in the military for over 20 years and missed 9 days of duty, here at NetJets-same job- I have missed over 45 days in the winter due to the UNIFORMS..

God Bless him and his family...

Are you freakin kidding me!!!! you are going to blame getting sick based on not having a coat that meets your standards? Get Real!!!!, Thats all I need,a stupid coat like the one you want to lug around, what do you have for a bag, one of those giant check on's like the owners have? we are not out that long in the cold, and I am hot as s$it after humping bags that all I want to do is put the heat down anyways and the cold up, all I wear is a sweater over my uniform and the blazer, and that is warm enough, even in the sub zero temps!! I dont even carry that stupid overcoat

Learn to suck it up, and for what its worth, I was also in the Military and I could not stand wearing that stupid overcoat!!

He must have an APU...

or isn't an fo that does the walk arounds.

My prayers to the family and also to all the NetJets pilots. If there is a fund being set up, please post it. 40 is awfully young to pass away.

This must be a very bad flu season. My father-in-law, my brother and my neighbor all have pneumonia. Drink lots of fluids (orange juice) and get some rest if you can’t shake a cold within a week. And go see a doctor at the first sign!

Batsky-
Dude this is a thread for the passing of a friend, a brother, and a family man. It's not about being a pu$$y it's about how we can prevent this in the future.

Sorry you fail to see that.

You said it Diesel!

The fund set up to pay for the remainder of the flying lessons Randy's two sons had begun has achieved that goal. The donations are now being put into a general/education fund for their future needs. My family is proud to be associated with the caring people in the NJ group.
