Go Jets is an alter ego carrier for Trans States. Very bad carear move. All other regionals are hiring. No reason to be a part of the Go Jets team. Put CHQ and Sky West at the top of your list of places you want to work. Leave Go Jets alone. You will be hated for a very long time if you go work there. If you are not sure what Alter Ego means then PM me your # and I will explain it to you over the phone in the most profesional way that I can.

The Trans States pilots did not have in a say in that decision. It was a management on management discussion that did not involve the pilots. TSA pilots did not willingly chose to bath themselves and the industry in crap just for what they thought was a quick upgrade and a larger airplane.



Looks like we found another "proud" gojetter. What I don't understand is if they are so proud and what they did was not wrong at all, how come they don't speak up on the forums, hide their IDs in the airport , attempt to jumpseat out of uniform, etc, etc?

Ha.... I also find it funny that you crybabies never have the balls to say anything to my face but your a real tough guy behind a computer screen. The fact is I did nothing wrong coming to GoJet. The Trans States pilots "screwed the pooch" and just aren't "man" enough to admit it. Oh well, their loss!! Listen very closely to the following steps.....

1.) Secure the flying
2.) work on the pay issue

I would gladly kick you off my plane to your face, just give me the chance. However, something tells me you would change out of your uniform to jumpseat and then tell the gate you work for TSA.

While many are not happy with the decision that you have made what do you want us to do, call you out in the middle of the terminal and act unprofessional while on the job? I have been on a few flights now when the CA has denied a jumpseat to your kind, and each time he explained his reason behind it, most of the time they did not care to listen. And the one time that our CA did allow one of your kind on, we both let the misguided go-jet guy know what we thought of the company.
I dont think that anyone will call you out while at work, besides it is hard to spot you guys on the job, badge turned backwards, looking at the ground.

What happened to all caps and bold? Just up and quit in that kind of hiring climate? g0jet was created when hiring at the airlines was in the up and up so I hope you don't give me the "I have a family to feed" excuse. TSA was already in existence when "big daddy AA" decided to do what what it was going to do. Not only did the TSA pilot group not have a say in the decision, but we were not created to get around the CBA of American Eagle.

If you want to continue to rationalize (a defense mechanism mind you), then go ahead.

Your pilot group will:
-Continue to be hated and be considered the premier bottom-feeding, industry tainting airline
-Not get additional flying for very, very long time if ever
-Continue to be denied a ride to or from work regardless of how lame the attempt is to hide who your employer is

I accept that you are an ignoramus, but do not try and steer another individual that is attempting to do research towards your company by lying. I believe the saying is "misery loves company."
 
I let an Go jet FO on my plane last week. But only after I told him Skywest was hiring. His first question was what are the minimums. Second question- how long to upgrade? I answered both and told him he didn't have to stay at gojet. His next question - "Does it really matter?" My response= "Hell yeah it matters! You're undermining a Transtates Pilots ability to negotiate a livible wage!" He went to the back of the plane and sat down. I thought the UAL Capt. that came on behind him was gonna ********************e hiimself laughing so hard..
 
Don't listen to any of these losers! Go Jets is the BEST regional to work for, hands down!

You get an A/B fund, the highest pay rates of any 70 seat regional, min 14 days off per month, per diem of $3.50/hr, and a disease-free Asian hooker on every overnight.

What more could you ask for?!

Yet mainline carriers keep hiring the jack-offs who go there. Stop HIRING go-jet pilots at the majors level and maybe people will get the message.

I would prefer a european hooker.
 
I probably shouldn't ask this, for fear of being shot in the head, but without reading every single piece of info on FI about GoJets, but why is everyone so bitter toward GoJets. Pay seems close to other similar companies. They've got guys that crossed the picket line obviously, but so do many others.
I'm just curious, as I just happened to stumble on this thread.
BTW,denying jumpseats is somewhat of a foul, in my opinion. They'd have to be guilty of some pretty heinous stuff. Oddly enough, the only two times I've been denied the jumpseat were on SWA.
 
Pay is close????? What pay are you looking at?
The company was founded to whipsaw the TSA guys. They were created to screw over a group of ALPA union members.
 
I rode on Gay Jets 3 months ago and they were extremely nice to me…yea yea yea yea yea……bla, bla, bla!!! I know…..probably all of you are pointing your AK-47’s at me for saying this but I still think these guys are still getting job at the majors regardless of their prior employer.

College degree, TT and Turbine PIC is what they look for.

Go ahead all you shooooot me!!!
