Did you ever think maybe the moderator did it for his own good, now maybe the gen can come out of the closet and realize who he is?

This forum is entertainment for some, info for others, but for the gen it's an escape.

Good people are lost everyday, but the gen keeps cumming back like the duracelvibrator bunny, too bad.

"See, it's inflammatory comments like that... "commuter"?....Blah, blah, blah

And then hypocrisy rears it's ugly head.

"You and all of the other Widgetheads on the ALPA board have been bashing RJs for years and I'm sick of it.

And let's not forget the juvenile threat/promise.

"I CAN make you go away. Consider it during your week off for flambait."

Wow, you must be somebody important. How Brokeback can you get IFLY. Lighten up Francis. So what if you're a commuter dude. What's wrong with that? I guess I'll probably be next.

If there is any truth to this, I think it is that IFLY, the "commuter dude" needs to take a break. For his own health. I mean come on, is the term "commuter" really that inflamatory? A person must be pretty thin skinned and have a fragile sense of self to be so put out with the term "commuter".

The General is upbeat and positive about this profession and his airline. Good for him. It's too bad a simple term like "commuter" is too much for the weak at heart to handle.

This little prick banned me about 2 years ago for almost the same thing. He has no stones and hides behind a keyboard. It is quite obvious who he is from ASA, and this move on the General is no surprise at all. His double talk goes hand in hand with his rjdc rants! Just look at all the support for the General, both from people who dislike and support him. I think its time the moderators step up to the plate and REMOVE him!

"Regional" still implies parts of the country. You wimps who get upset over the word "commuter" should petition the Politically Correct Police for the term "multi-regional" or "we fly our planes really far sometimes type outfit" instead of your coveted "regional" terminology.
I haven't forgotten where I came from either. I called my commuter airlines commuters when I worked there.

What's with all the negative waves??? D. Sutherland

Hey, I think the term commuter is like a badge of honor. If you're old enough to know what they are, you're probably a success somewhere and if you don't know what they are, it doesn't matter anyway.

B-B-Q in SEA- I'll buy.

I do enjoy this board. I enjoy the whole aviation spectrum, and I do check in a few times a day (and respond to many posts at a time) when I am not flying, and that is fine with me and my wife. I treat her well and we still spend plenty of time together. You, on the otherhand, don't like my opinions and try to debate me by using put downs. You probably were a schoolyard bully and now have grown to all of 5 feet tall. You and Ifly4food are probably best friends. That is wonderful. Next time, try to debate me on the subjects, or ignore me please. Really, you can do it.

Bye Bye--General Lee

May I suggest General's BBQ, in Kent?

I love The General and stop by anytime I'm over at the Boeing Surplus Store. There's a new place in Tacoma which is right up there with the General. Are you local? And BTW, I'm squinting at your Avatar- what's going on there?

I used to be local (25 years!) -- sadly, we have to search for BBQ now in the greater Detroit area. :crying:

The avatar ... they're unveiling the PSA "smile" on an L1011. It doesn't show up very well, unfortunately. I'm suddenly into the retro photos. I've got one for you I'll put up later today.
