From what I understand, they don't put all the waypoints in the approaches so that people don't try to use it to fly an actual IFR approach.

On another note, used it the other day trying to get back to Ft Lauderdale, and it helped so much picking our way through the storms. That XM weather datalink is worth its weight in gold.

I have a friend with the Anywhere Map / Motion 800 computer, it's a big display, with approach plates, and the XM weather, he says it's just fabulous.
Someday, when I can afford it, I would like to get the XM weather thingie.

im using one for my instrument training and have filied /G every time. should i file something different?
