I also like that they removed the lower left/right panes and moved those to the sidebar as widgets. Better view of the terrain info.

The tapes just seem wider and when in split-screen I think that compresses the PFD content a bit. Have to find some videos to check again. (Edit: I may be wrong, looking at a G3X picture again they look the same. Yeah, I need go get flying again soon! Still too hot!)

With the SD card slot gone, replaced by a USB-C port. I wonder how updates are done for those that don't use Garmin Pilot? Will you need a laptop at the airplane now to transfer files? Internet connection required? Curious...
 
This video shows the older (or different) style engine gauge presentation which I prefer vs. what I'm seeing in other videos. Interesting you can change it, I assume...
