Is Gulfstream getting any closer to announcing?

I talked to the FSI manager in SAV and he admitted that they are working with Gulfstream.

I've been out of the G community for too long...flying a high strung, finicky GLX. Show me the light at the end of the tunnel.
 
I would speculate that NBAA in Atlanta this fall will be the forum for the announcement. Perfect time, place and audience.

Anyone else?
 
GVflyer would be here telling us the details but he was abducted by the Gulfstream Security Services for letting some other details slip out a while back.

He won't be eating solid food anytime soon... :eek: TC
 
Rumor has it that it will be 6 inches wider than a Global with the same speed and range of the G550.

I'm guessing it'll weigh in at around 105-108k. TC

P.S.--The oval windows will stay, too.
 
I think next up is a potential G250. I know FSI has been in the loop on that one, but I didn't hear of a G6. Who knows though.
 
I've heard that the windows will be 33% bigger. Looking forward to flying it. I just hope they keep inviting me to the Wednesday dinners. ;)
 
Apparently they are doing some testing in a special hanger located away from the service center. We tried to get in but the closest we could get was to read the sign over the entrance door. "Monster Garage" Keep out!. At least they have a sense of humor.

they better get it under 100K if they want to go to TEB
