Glad everybody's OK.

But when did aviation accident reports start using "port" and "starboard"?
 
But when did aviation accident reports start using "port" and "starboard"?
The same time they started reporting damage that "does not appear to be substantial" when you tear the gear out from under a 40-ton airplane and end up in the dirt resting on a wing.
 
That was a nice nearly 3 hour flight flying circles, to come back and crash. Training Flight??
 
my experience with acceptance/delivery flights is a couple hours of circles and straight and level. I would agree with the other posts that it was probably a flight for check of systems and interior fit and function but we will see as the reports come out.
