Now that's funny. I think he did it right after he bought the beer for Jenna Bush and gave that crack to Jeb's daughter.

Bwa ha ha ha! :D

(I did give over five years of my life to my country, including a little time dodging bullets with Red, White, & Blue Militia in South America after ETS'ing. And I'M TELLING YOU ... they are both cowards and crooks. Both parties are equally guilty of selling US jobs away, sending my brothers and sisters needlessly into harm's way, all the while lining their own pockets. About 75% of the politicians from both parties should be run out of Washington on rails. To the streets then? :D )

At least Clinton's lies didn't get 100s of soldiers killed.

I apologize for not being specific. After adding the two soldiers that were killed today, the grand total is now 275.

Hey Mesaba,

You're right. Clinton didn't get 100's of people killed. He was responsible for just under 3,000.

Don't you have a tree to hug or a protest to go to?

Did you know anyone who was killed on 9-11? Would you be able to look into a child's eyes and tell them their parents are dead because the Clinton administration ignored obvious warnings of an impending terrorist attack using our own airliners?

Our armed forces are not only preserving freedom for a very volatile area of the world (don't think the events in the Middle East do not affect you), they are sending a strong message to the rest of the world about trying this dastardly act again.

I know that the pen is much sharper than a sword, and it's easy to criticize our commander in chief on a message board, but please remember: Nobody is perfect and I would much rather have a President who stands up to these dictators and terrorists rather than a man who hangs out with Barbra Streisand and the like, commits perjury, and doesn't care about his fellow citizens, let alone the troops paid to defend your freedom to bitch.

Hoooweee,
I didn't think you'all were gonna get this jacked up over a silly GWB action doll.
This is way better than chucking rocks at Mesa.

ROFLMAO!!!!:D

Kepjet,

That post was a joke! It has clearly been pointed out that the Bush administration was well aware of Al-Qaeda activities and plans to use airplanes as weapons prior to 9/11. Was it the Bush administrations fault? Of vourse not. We had never faced that type of terrorism before. It wasn't the Clinton adminstrations fault either.

What's made me sick of this administration is their ability to lie and spin instead of step up to the plate and admit error and then just move on. The blaming of the CIA for bad intel on Iraq, or George Tenet, or Rice's assistant for George Bush's comments in a speech was a disgrace. Simple pointing fingers. As least after the press finally pinned the administration down did George admit, yes, those are my words. Yeah, no kidding, you only spoke them on national TV. I'd give him this much, at least he finally took responsibility. Some of his administration, like a person just below him, I doubt would ever own up to their own errors.

Gunfyter, George's own father called Reagan's ideas voodoo economics and they had little to do with the good times of the mid to late 90's. Don't you remember how bad the country's economic position was in the early 90's? That was the Reagan hangover. Tech investment and development had far more to do with the booming economy we recently saw than Reagan or Clinton did.

Mesaba- Hello McFly, Powell is a liberal- In California we call them "RINO's" Republican in Name Only

RINO? That's a smart move...alienating one of the most brilliant soldiers that ever served his country. If Bush listened to Powell instead of the "tyrannical 3" (Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz) maybe our economy might be back in shape and soldiers would be home. If we go into North Korea like the tyrannical 3 wants to do...you can kiss 20,000 U.S. soldiers goodbye, not to mention all the civilian casualties in Japan from the scud nukes they will lob over the Sea of Japan. The "Right" ripping on Powell because he is "Liberal" is hypocrisy at it's finest. Powell is a genius...and the GOP continues to alienate many Americans with it's ultra-conservative, ultra-religious right wing views. Good job.

House- So we go to war, win and then leave the enemy in power? When will liberals realize that peace will only come through victory. As for N Korea, that war should have been concluded to victory and the whole peninsula freed. But, unfortunately, the liberal mentality of appeasement ruled and we now have the situation with nuclear weapons thanks to the Ex-Presidents, Hummer and Mr. Peanut.

Wil,

Since you are such a big patriot, why don't you show it and join up. The Army is short on manpower and could use a few replacements. Or are you like most other conservatives that are all talk and no action.

Conservative motto- I'm all for the war as long as I don't have to serve or pay for it, but I will put a U.S. flag on my car to show my support.

Well, I got put back together with too many pins and plates after a wreck in college. But, I will say that service does not trump opinion.
Democrat Charles Rangle is a decorated Korean War vet but look at his politics. I'll take a conservative who never served over him anyday.

wow, you're really kind of stretching it, here...
i'm sure you realize that war could have (and did go) either way? we were pushed back almost to the south coast.. they were pushed back to darn near china.. then they pushed back, and the border that exists today is the result of neither side being able to push anymore... you're suggesting that an end to the violence should not have occurred? that we should have kept pushing until the mao sent his entire force in? please.. that war was unwinnable, for either side. the armistice was a victory. unless of course, you consider fewer dead americans a loss.
