Ok, I'll bite... Fuel burn first hours is about 4,500 lbs... Now this considers climbing up to FL410 and cruising at Mach 0.85, neither of which you would do on an 80 NM trip... My guess is on an 80 NM trip you will burn somewhere around 1,500 lbs of fuel... You are MUCH better off with your current King Air for this flight... A $40 million airplane to fly 80 NM, not much business sence there...prpjt said:Just looking for rough info to reply to my boss. Actually after about 12 hours at .85 it would leave you with somewhere around 3,000 lbs, which is a tad light, but still in the "legal" realm... I got these numbers off a gauge sheet I had handy... Actually went back for EVS Training and did an extra "review" sim so we could remember where all the buttons are...
