I support Mr. Santulli and his effort to win the petition and to keep NJI a non-union company, separate from NJA. If he wins, good for me, bad for you. If he looses, bad for me, good for you. Either way, I will be glad when this horse runs the race.

Pack, how many times do I have to tell you, dude. One o in lose. As in, "if the hearing were held today, next month, next year, or in three years, the IBT would lose the petition." Where did you get that college degree?

Diesel,

I thought I knew every greasy spoon joint up there. Now Im ready for an overnight in HPN to find this place. I know where the car dealer your talking about is.

Probably the same place where you got your ability to see into the future.....

Madaam Cleo maybe??.....just 1.99 for the first 3 minutes.

Hey DO-82,

I thought IBT would win the petition too. Until I read the NMB decision on that real alter-ego airline out of St. Louis. Didn't go so hot for the union.

C'mon gutshot, consider which union was actually fighting the fight for the boys in St. Louis! I have an absolutely difficult time believing that union's best interests lie with the pilot group they were representing in that case.

Read the ruling of the NMB on Precisoin Airlines and Northeast Express back in early 1994. It went real well for the Union on that one. I believe that case mosre closely mirrors the relationship between NJA and NJI, even including pilots from one company being allowed to bid and fly equipment in aircraft of the other company.

No one knows until its ruled upon.......

We all know what Bush and his administration (NMB included) would do right now but you gotta ask yourself about 3 yrs from now...

What would Billary do??

NJI:smash:

I couldn't agree more! You are right on target, GSD! But when it comes to telling the pilots something like that, better you than me. If I corrected their spelling, they'd have a fit. ;) Surely, you didn't think I meant the single carrier issue? Not too likely. The pilots see too many examples out there. It brings to mind that phrase....for all intents and purposes. The packaging may be different, but the product is the same, including the brand.
