I'm sorry I started this thread...
Just remember a few things. This guy is ONE pilot at Mesaba. Are some of them jacka$$es? Yes, just like there are at every other pilot group. Most of them are good people.
I just hate to see the in-fighting between pilot groups. It's easy to say you'll get an "industry leading deal" when everyone is beating the drum together but when it's all said and done... ??? It depends what you negotiate.
Please don't forget: WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. If so-and-so's company has a "better" contract, good for them! It's hard to compare deals anyway until all sections are equal, and that will probably never happen. Who gives a **** anyway? Do what's right for you.
Mesaba's contract is better than Pinnacle in many ways, but Pinnacle's is older and they will hopefully make improvements on their next one. Hopefully the industry will be doing well then but you never know. All this "my dick is longer than yours... oh, but mine is thicker" is so stupid.
