I'm getting it in August, and I plan on doing the following:

Collecting unemployment, sleeping late, having an IV catheter inserted into my arm with a 24/7 Budweiser drip, chasing wild women, and playing drums for cash with a couple diferent bands.

Gettin fuloughed in Sept and have two options so far......neither are stellar but they are what they are.

1. C-402 single pilot cargo route/M-F
2. SIC Lear 35 Air Ambulance/on call/10 Hard days off a month/one hour from call to wheels up

They both pay the same, are in my hometown, and will have me home every night.

Which would you take knowing something better could....I say could....come down in the not so distant future.

Dont want to hassle with unemployment and dont want to go back to a regional and have to commute for it.

Thanks!
Diversify your income streams. Same as investing. I would do something outside of aviation. Take advantage of the opportunity and go to grad. school or work in another professional field.
Stay away from the flight controls, just say no.

Take the Lear job. It will keep you sharp in case you get Netjets. I would look for good local Part 91 jobs after at least 6 months of Lear work in the event that Netjets doesn't pan out.
