I am trying to do some competitive benchmarking of payrates among LCCs. In order to convert F9 monthly salaries to an effective hourly rate, I need to know how many hours on average a pilot is given on their award line and wheteher you have a blocking window (min/max hours on an awarded line).

For those of you who are going to direct me to airlinepilotpay.com, I already know about the site and I am trying to reconcile those posted rates to F9s CBA.

Thanks in advance for the info.

Cheers - Rob

I am not positive as I would have to look it up and cba isn't handy, but I believe that website has the hourly rates posted. Based on 75 hours with line average around 79 hours for the bus. They were talking about some hiring this fall but the concensus is it ain' t gonna happen.

No need to convert salary as F9 has done away with it and has adopted an hourly pay system. I'll post the numbers when I get access to my contract.

The hourly rate . . .

I know this is lazy of me, but take the salary divided by 12. Then divide again by 75. That is our hourly rate. What is it after all that mess? I dunno, somewhere around 50 an hour for me? I just know it translates to a little over 46K the first year, which is all I need to know.

If I get some freetime and USMC319 doesn't beat me to it, I will post some numbers as well.

While on reserve, I would divide my salary by the number of hours flown for the month.
