Hello all.

I am interviewing at Frontier in March.

Anyone have any good gouge?

Thanks

Jetsi, did you apply through Airlineapps.com? If so, who much time transpired until you got the call?

Actually I hate to say this, but I sent in a resume.

I sent it in early January, and got the call on Feb. 20 to set up an interview date.

When I put it in I didn't see anything about Airlineapps, so I must have got in right before that.

A friend of mine who is a Check Airman wrote a LOR and took it in for me.

That is all the news I have now.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Greetings all, March 10, 2004.

Got me a new avatar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to post my gouge on aviationinterviews.com, hopefully get it up in a couple days.

The one thing I got from the interview that was stressed is that all of were there because of a LOR from a Frontier employee. If you don't have one, find one quick.

Gotta start looking for a pad in Denver. I am so EXCITED!

YES

Put in the pool. Differing views on start. Could be April/May, could be May/June, could be June/July. Will find out soon enough.

Congratulations!

Welcome! See ya 'round. Great training, and a fun place to work:D

DEN Crashpad

Jetsi,

Give me a PM. I've got a good friend that runs a nice pad close to DIA and Frontier's operation.

New to the lingo

Meant a place to live, not a place to crash.

Gonna have to learn all the lingo. Hard line, reserve, junior man, etc.

Going to be a change from the Pt. 91 work doing now, but can't wait.

Jetsi -- Huge Congrats.

I sent in my paper in January before the airline apps thing as well. Have not heard a single word .... Did you get any kind of acknowledgement card that they at least got your resume? In fact, I sent MT a letter today asking about my status -- am I catch 22 with the airline apps or not? I have one FO who wrote an LOR for me, but otherwise, zip for contacts at F9...... I'm thrilled for you and you AVATAR is great .... Just like the commercials. Enjoy it!

Welcome to the Denver area Jetsi,

I know theres quite a few Denverites on this board. If you need any info just pm me. I've been here my whole life and know the area quite well.

Congrats Jetsi...I wish i was in your shoes.

Hey you Frontier guys, i need you to come to Houston and catch a ride on Airnet so i can bum an LOR off ya. PLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEASE. Mucho cerveza for the first taker!!!!

Lovin life right now

Thanks to everyone, and thanks to all who helped me get my job.

MK82Man, sounds like you sent your resume in at the same time I did. I did not receive any confirmation of receipt of my resume, but I had a friend walk it in so I was fairly confident that it got there. I don't think you are in any catch22 with the airlineapps.com process, but again what do I know? I think sending MT a letter was a good idea, lets her know you are still interested.

DenverDude2002, how far north can I go in Aurora and be safe with my wife and kids? Four years ago I was renting an apartment at 225 and Mississippi. It used to be you were safe south of 6th but now I hear it is around Illiff. The wife wants SE Denver, around Englewood or Centennial (CC Schools). Know any good townhomes for rent in that area?

Starchkr, wish I could help. Gotta get off of probation (and on the payroll) before a LOR from me would do any good.

Good luck to all who are still trying. From what I have seen I won't have to do another interview again (KNOCK ON WOOD).

Jetsi -
Congratulations!! I'm deeply envious! I've been trying since just after they started flying . . . no joy. Would you mind posting a brief overview of your flying experience? I see the types & total in your avatar bar, I was just wondering about turbine PIC, for example. I'm at about 3700TT with 2300 Jet, but less than 100 Jet PIC. With four solid LORs, no smudges, and a BS, I'm thinking it's both the total and the PIC that're keeping them from calling me. Any input? JThanks and congrats again!

Jesti, need a house?

Welcome to F9. I'll see you on line soon. PM if you are in the market for a house. We just put up ours.

Jetski,
I will pm you a message later tonight/tomorrow about aurora. I happen to have a friend who lives down there and I can fill you in on how bad aurora is now.I have been up since 5am, flew doiwn to texas, so I will pm you a message tonight or tomorrow.

April 12th Class

Greetings everyone,

Don't know if this is still being read so far down the list, but I got the phone call from Mary Tunnel today, beginning class on April 12th, and going into the Airbus. Found a house at Orchard and Buckley that is a little steep, but I think I can make it work out.

Also heard that they are planning on getting a class a month through the end of the year. Hopefully should have 70 to 80 below me by 2005. Also fleet schedule is to add 13 Airbuses (or it is Airbi) in 2004, down to 5 737's by July, and no 737's after July 2005.

Keep the shiny side up, and don't touch the dusty switches all.

Jetsi
