This coming summer will mark my 25th year flying for a paycheck. This includes 3 yrs instructing, 13 years regional airline;just under 2 years at a Pt 121 non sked and 7 years at my present employer where I can hold Capt on any airplane we have. I started this with about 300 hrs or so in my log book in 1980 and have averaged 750 hrs a year since then. Do the math and tell me what you come up with,genius.

The only thing that comes to mind is............"SO."

"so...?"

Yeah......that's what I think about it all ,too. Just a response to some know it all who accused me of lying about my background a few posts back on this thread..
You gonna be OK when they turn back those 11 airplanes?

Well, this hasn't been very informative about Frontier, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to work at America West if there are too many guys like PHXFLYR. (Smiley face intentionally omitted)

C'mon now! He may be the guy in need of anger management therapy;) , but he is a member of the fine family at AWA. So having said that we just continue to accept him for who he is and wonder how much those therapy bills will cost the company.:D

WOW :(

Thing are good at F9. Hiring is rumored to restart in dec2005 but maybe sooner also. We have 45 airplanes out of 62 firm and 23 additional options. Only 550 pilots and the boeing transition is occuring right now so there is a little delay in hiring.

This is all I have heard. I think there are 30 pilots swimming in the pool.

TZFO;

Sorry to hear about that. Do you have any paperwork on file at AWA. They are supposed to hire 200 for 2005 if your interested.

Holy shiite guy, I wasn't challenging your addition skills or truthfulness, if that wasn't obvious. I was pointing out how insanely tight your spichter is. Read ANAL.

Common' you got almost 19K hours and you have it down to the 5's. Surprised you have time to spend with your family between all the log book session you put in. Nevertheless congrats on your productive career.

AnimalTale speaks the facts...Thanks for bringing this thread to fullcircle.
Keep in mind any of a number of variables could change things for applicants for the better, ie:another airlines' chapter 7 or down sizing. This industry is poised for major changes in the coming few months.
