Did he get a better offer elsewhere or is he leaving "for personal reasons"? That's never good. JetBlue has a new CFO as well.

I'll be the first to acknowledge that we're on shaky ground, but Mr. Tate's departure is a good thing. I'd bet dollars to donuts that the real story is that he was fired.

I hope he's replaced by someone who's competent.

There's another top management person who should be shown the door. Don't be surprised if you hear of another senior executive announce "early retirement for personal reasons" in the [hopefully] not too distant future. What will our PEOPLE do? :erm:

Mr. Tate did an Ok job being a CFO of Frontier as a National Airline but like Mr. Potter, the airline grew beyond their capability and they have to give way to executives that can run a major airline. I am certain that the position will be filled by someone that has major airline credentials, finally.

There will be two more leaving------>GUARANTEED!

Menke, is cleaning house. And I heard he hates stupid, ignorant "BLOCK" houses.

CYA

Why the BLOCK has been around so long at this level just astounds me. The BLOCK must have had pictures on the boys or something. Kinda reminds me of The George HW Bush Administration keeping Quayle around for so long. In any case I believe Mr. Menke has a very low tolerance for ineptness, indolence, or incompetency.

I view these "departures" as F9 getting their house in order and - in the long run - a very good sign.
