Does anyone know if they are or are planning to hire? If so, does it help to know someone? What is the best way to apply? I jumped alot on them and what a great bunch people work there.

Fronter, Frontier

Fronter, Backer, Frontier, at this point I'd be happy to hear from anybody....I spent all my money on flying lessons and didn't have any left for typing........

Keep an eye on frontierairlines.com . . . the pilot employment link will let you know when they begin taking resumes again.

Thanks Les for the dig. It especially hurts coming from a lead guitar player.........

"Les" is no lead guitar player. Just another drummer with big dreams.

We've got somewhat of a pool right now.

The last memo said that we'd start accepting resumes again sometime in January. I don't know when interviews are going to crank back up.

Good luck!

PS-I couldn't spell/type either and they hired me:) You just have to learn to type 60 wpm with your left hand to fly the Bus:p

Les -
You've just crossed that fine line between nitpicking an acting like an a$$hole. What do you figure would provide the greatest possibility of elimination during an application/interview process . . . their spelling errors or your attitude? You wouldn't happen to wear a double-breasted black blazer to work or be based at DFW, would you?

thanks again mister spellcheck

In the first place this is not an application, I'm just typing about as fast as I am barely able, and in the second place I won't take more time to get into a mental battle with an unarmed man. I was taught that our attitude is the most important thing we have and the great thing about it is we have a choice everyday about the attitude we will have. It's obvious the choice you've made, it's just not the one I'd pick........

Gee Les,

Thanks for pointing that out.

Ya know... Attitude is everything.

I'm just glad I made my mistake for the year and nobody got hurt:D

Frontier hiring

I heard about eight weeks ago from someone I know who knows someone at Frontier that it will be hiring pilots and FAs. The someone I know I regard to be a knowledgeable source.

Start sending in those resumes. Good luck with your job search.

Les, this is a message board, not a spelling bee.

Somehow, I think less Les would be more . . . . . . . . enjoyable!

Your entire career encompasses about 1/10th of mine and many others on these forums, so please don't be surprised that like most people around here, I take ANYTHING you have to offer on these forums as anything more than.... well... cr@p.

Heh-heh . . . you crack me up Les.

If the only thing that I had going for me, les, is that I am an FO at a profitable, growing LCC, well, that would be OK with me . . . because my job in this industry is not what "defines" who I am.

I am the proud Father of two great kids (11 and 3). I have a great wife that I will be celebrating my 12th anniversary with next month. I have a beautiful home . . . and we are closing on a beachfront property shortly. I have several trademarks and a patent appliation in the works that I hope will be as successful for me as some of my business ventures I was in before I joined this "flying circus". And let's not forget about the great family and friends whose company I enjoy . . . . .

You know what, though, Les. if being an AirTran FO were "all" that I was, well, that would be OK, but it isn't. Apparently, your job (or lack of one) is what defines you. . . and I guess that explains why you are such an unhappy, braying jack@ss . . .

Hee, Haw, MF, Hee-Haw.
