First thing I did when I picked my FX3 was remove the Airworthiness Cert and AFM kit from the rear ceiling. Why CC thinks that it's a good place for it is beyond me. Add to that the build quality is poor, the velcro was not completely sewn on. I recently flew with an FO that manufactures kneeboards tailored for military pilot training. We got to talking about his equipment he has to accomplish that and I mentioned I needed a solution to cover the antenna cables in the aft ceiling. We started brainstorming a material panel to zip tie and velcro onto the hooks and bars in the aft seat ceiling. He made it out of 500 Denier Cordura Nylon and Mil grade velcro. If interested I can pass info to him for additional units. He can make it with and without an airworthiness certificate window. $125/$150.
