ok so I have comed to a point where its not looking so nice, they raised my pay at walmart .90cents more I just came back from a 3 month personal leave so If I ask for another one they will probably send me to hell.these would be to go to florida or one of those academys.
second at my local fbo they are low on instructors more even for instrument instructors.
now can anybody tell me if I do intrument on part 41 do i need 50 hours cross country and then I need 40 hours with intructor??
thats a lot of time and bullsh1t. and thats only for intrument wow man these might take way to long .

I'm going back to my original post.

oh boy, you must not know. Instrument is probably the most important rating you can get. It allows you to fly in a whole lot of weather. An instrument rating isn't one that should be taken lightly. If you don't know the stuff cold, you could get your self into a nasty situation and could kill yourslef.

How old are you? Why be in such a rush? Relax, take it slow, and let the good times roll! I know for pt 61 it is 50 hours of cross country, but that can be any cross country after your private, or solo during private, 40 hours total actual or simulated instrument, and 15 hours of instrument instruction. Not sure if there is anything less for pt 141

Hello I would like some advice , I will borrow from my dads life savings 50k ,I feel guilty and afraid. But at the same time I am sick of working In places like walmart, not doing what I would love to do wich is flying for an airline.
Please give me advice of where to go get my other ratings, I got my private at a local airport but it took to long and it was a headache. I would like to maybe go to an academy or similar, all advice is greatly appreciated.

some places I had in mind
all atps
Regional Airline Academy
PEA
Flight safety
any other please addvice.

I also would like to know if I can kill two birds with one stone and maybe like get multi engine and comercial combined or multi and instrument combined is that better thanks a bunch.

If I were your dad I would tell you to go kick rocks

I suggest using the $$ to get a college education first, then pay for your training yourself. That gives you a backup plan, too.

Im 30 and no its not that its walmart or pilot if I stay here and do my training at the local fbo where i got the private I can still work at walmart.
if not I probably loose my job if I go somewhere else.
And the other college degree I really dont like anything exept aviation.
I am in a hurry cause Its been 10 years since I started and time is moving fast , I figured that if I dont do something now I might never do it.

anyways thanks for responding I shall take your ideas into consideration.:)
