Were you... ummm... saying something? Sorry... mesmerized... by... Avatar... they... move... niiiiice... :)

In all seriousness, that goofy sh*thead needs to have his a*s handed to him (or her) on a platter. If you find out who it is, we got your back!

You're right! T-Gates' Avatar is great!!!! You, uh, were talking about that one, right?!?!?!
Anyway, ACA Soldier's comment is so foul. I hope he gets his!!!!
I wish no ill-will towards ACA pilots in general, however when I hear comments like this moron made, it makes me really hope he's going through career hell right now sweatin' this stuff out!

Heck no man, I ain't talking about T-Gates' ball-busting Barney, although I take that kind of abuse from that guy every day on reserve...

I'm a proud supporter of the "Free the Twins" campaign... you know, I'm talking about freeing those TWINS that Big Dog 1 has up there... give his avatar a second to load, then sit back, relax, and get verrrry, verrrry, sleeeepy. :o

Guess I'd appreciate it more if'n I were a dude! But I'm not!
Think I prefer the big purple dinosaur gettin' down wiff his bad self!

Well that would explain your preference... especially if you work for Pinnacle. That dinosaur doing what he's doing has special meaning for us...

ciao bella

Hey big dog1, I am an ACA pilot and I can guarantee you that is not the sentiment of our pilot group towards yours. I do not even want to think of the idea of flying for JO but even as much as I despise that thought I would not wish an outcome like that on anyone. I happen to know a fellow that had a very, very close relationship with the Captain of that Air Midwest flight and in fact he works for them as well. I agree that ACASoldiers comments were way out of line and I too wish I knew who it was. All of us are just pawns in this stupid game and I wish your group all the luck as well.

I apologize for some peoples ignorance.

Take care,

SP

Mesa...

I wish Mesa would just disappear and then most of our troubles would disappear :D

What a stupid, naive statement. Do you really think if Mesa "went away" that U would just give you all the jets? That's just plan stupid. They would go to CHQ, TSA or some other contract carrier with lower costs and the means to acquire the aircraft. Open your eyes and look at the big picture. -Bean

Here is my 2 cents. I don't know who this ACA pilot is. But one thing is certain that those comments are not welcomed in here.

I believe this is someone who does not have a flying job. They just want to stir up things.

beantown.....

my comment may be stupid but thats how I feel, If you work for Mesa I feel sorry for you and your brotheren. I also feel sorry for those at Piedmont. I don't give one rats ass about what goes on at Piedmont any more, I am leaving this place. The reason I am leaving Piedmont is because I got sick and tired of dealing with the politics and all the BS of US Airways, not to mention the crappy quality of life that goes along with working at piedmont. I never thought I would say this but I think Mesa and Piedmont are very similiar to each other in a lot of respects. quality of life sucks, pay stinks (below industry average), work rules are below industry average. this place just plain sucks. Not to mention at least Mesa Has brand new equipment to fly. For those at Piedmont what do we really have thats better than Mesa? Think long and hard before you bash me for saying what I am saying. sianara and keep on flaming :)

I agree that ACAdudes comment was crappy. But just out of curiosity, what are you gonna do to him when you find out who it is - Beat him up at the bike rack?

What can you do when somebody post stuff like that? talk to them?? tell them "don't do that" with a stern look on your face:mad: whats the point they are going to say what ever they want anyway:rolleyes:

I tend to think it's not really an ACA pilot. Hope not anyway. You can call yourself whatever you want to on this board. Don't hold it against us as a group.

Well Ill just ave to say

Well Ill just have to say this

The individual who posted the offending comments should be actively sought. If he is identified then no one should beat him up at the bike rack. That would be a stoop to his insecure, low down, sameful level. Someone I know uses the term whale s*it. You see, something in the whales S*it is probaly alive right? It sinks to the bottom or the ocean right? So whale s*it is the lowest form of life on the plannet. This guy is Wale S*it. If his identity can be found then he should be fired. He has no buisness arround comercial aviation. Making fun of a tragedy such as this is something that I would expect from Alkeda not a pilot. If he does infact work for ACA then the management should fire him! This is no joke. So Whale S*it, just let us know who you really are or just continue to be a faceless low life coward. It is your descision.

P.S. Ill send anyone on here my real name!!!!

Crappy quality of life???

I never knew that being a pilot was a crappy way of life. I'm sick of hearing pilots complaining about how hard it is living the pilot life, how hard our jobs are. When was the last time you sat in an office with no windows for 8 hrs. a day? Have you even thought about the men and women in the middle east fighting their a$$ off so you could have the privilage to fly? Being a pilot allows us the benefit to travel around wherever we want. Yeah, some of us may not have the greatest work schedules, but let's remember why we became pilots in the first place... our passion for flying. That is why most of us became pilots isn't it? If not, my advice to you is to get out of aviation ASAP! Life is TOO SHORT to go around pi$$ing an moaning about what isn't going right in your life. GET OVER IT!!!

Oh yeah... whoever that ACA pilot is, deserves to be in that smokey hole!!! Whatever happend to the "pilot brotherhood"?

Whatever happend to the "pilot brotherhood"?

What's that called, an oxymoron?
Pilots will do anything to get a leg up on their "brothers."

who ya daady

You wonder why I complain? Just think what you would do when your company gives you 10 days off per month. You say thats great! thats two more than what I get, but remember I am not home at all for the other 21 days I am working, because they are all 4 day trips. Furthermore I can't plan anything on a day off because my company feels the need to always JR man me on a day off or extend me to do more flying when I am supposed to be getting done with a trip. You can sit there in your office and pass judgement on me. At least you get to sleep in your own bed every night, at least you can take care of yout kid and your wife every day. At least you get to celebrate Christmas at home with your kid and wife and watch them open gifts instead of talking on the phone. Same goes for Turkey day. You don't have it so bad believe me. Sitting in your office sounds very nice to someone like me

Come to Comair. It is way better then Piedmont. I was at Piedmont for 2 years and I have been at Comair for one. I am home Thanksgiving and Christmas with 14 days off. Loving it.

Seems to me you guys should have thought about your soon to be schedules and way of life before you signed up for your current jobs. I agree with yo daddy on this one. If you were so concerned about your family and days off and such you should have learned something else in life. I too had to make a decision as to which job to take and because i treasure my family and lifestyle over anything else, i chose the one i did. Now i might not make as much money as some of you, but my 12 days off, all of which are weekends(friday-monday), plus all holidays makes me pretty happy. Oh yeah, and i get to sleep in my bed every night too.
You are the kind of people that will never be happy... always something to bitch about, whether its how much money you make, or how you can't get more than 12 days off per month(try asking the rest of the world how they live with only 8).

It's time to grow up and join the world of the working man/woman.

Has it occurred to you that this may be the reason why regional pilots are so grossly underpaid? You know... at some point, you should start caring about your pay, quality of life, etc. and if you are at a regional or waiting to get on at one, or at some corporate operator I'd suggest you start caring NOW, growing a spine and getting some self-respect. It's not all about the view, or travel, or thrill of flying a jet or passion of flying.
