Does anyone know if the Azores uses 8.33MHZ frequency spacing on VHF?

Standard freqs every time I've been thru talking with Santa Maria and Lajes folks there. Only 8.33 spacing I've seen (heard) in Europe has been occasionally around Northern Europe (Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands & Scandanavia) and some parts of France. If you're still mil call Lajes base ops for the latest for the region. If you go NORDO you can't say "some guy on a web forum" told me they didn't use this offset....good luck.

that's where the c/s came from....

When I was last on Det, just about all of europe had gone to the requirement. Earlier, when we didn't have the mod yet installed, we put "8.33 exempt" in the remarks on our flight plans.
Do a google for EuroControl, you should be able to find an answer there.
