Re: About CHQ and Republic...

I don't agree with a non-unionized group of pilots being pitted against a unionized group under the same ownership (or anyone else for that matter).

But you do support a unionized group of pilots being pitted against a separate unionized group under the same ownership ?

Last I heard, CHQ's prez and Republic's prez were saying two different things. Your prez was telling the group that Republic would only be flying for Airways and Republic's was saying that they'll be looking into different code-share possibilities. Also Republic is supposed to be operating on a lower cost schedule than CHQ. So you really think that Republic will have no real affect on CHQ? In talking with a few guys I know with your Union, they don't seem to think Republic is harmless. Why don't you get in line with the rest of your pilot group and stop buying into management's pitch?

I sit out on the ramp in ABQ 4 nights a week and watch Freedom's CL700 land. I then think "What I wouldn't give to be flying that right now." But then I remember who are flying those aircraft and I thank my lucky stars I'm a poor freight dog and not a scab.

Just my $.02
Skyking;)
