FOs flying to near the max -- how does the pay work?

I think it would be interesting to hear from some 1st year Charter CAs and some 1st year freight dogs just for comparison

Hey Avalanche, I'm a first year 135 Lear Captain(and I hate it, waiting for the call from Netjets) I might clear 40k first year working 25 days a month. When I was at ACA first year making 21.53 an hour I cleared 36k, second year making 26.52 hr I cleared 44k, of course I blocked 963 hrs and got paid for 1300 or so. I was looking forward to the 35+ hr when I went to the rj at Indy but that pipe dream only lasted for a month and a half. Of course during the months that I worked the hardest at ACA/Indy I might have put in 20 out of 30 days. Now I am working my a$$ off!

Can't you people afford to eat real food at a real restaurant while on the road?

I once saw a senior Captain doing that. For the rest of us, the answer is no.
